This is a square shaped cushion with a finished size of 40cm square. It is worked in two pieces. The back of the cushion is made first by crocheting 16 small granny squares which are then joined together using double crochet. The front of the cushion is crocheted in one piece, changing the yarn colour at the start of each round. The back and front pieces are then joined together with two rounds of double crochet to create an edging.

Instructions for this crochet cushion are provided in written format only.

This cushion has been crocheted using three shades of New Lanark Aran Yarn.

This Granny Square Cushion was crocheted using Aran weight yarn. The cushion crochets very quickly with this weight of yarn. The back of the cushion is 16
granny squares, which were crocheted separately and then
joined together. The front of the cushion is one big granny square, with a change in yarn colour at the start of each round.
