This pattern is super versatile and can allow you to play with tons of colour combinations. I’ve also included instructions for a rainbow bucket hat that uses the same pattern, but has details on which colours to use for each square to achieve a psychedelic rainbow hat.

Usually you can make two or more hats per one standard hank of yarn if you’re doing one colour only.

This can be a great stash buster project if you have yarn you want to use up, just remember to use the yarn you have the least of for the smallest part of the granny squares, and move to your next most abundant colour next.
