A classic unisex baby blanket that looks impressive, but isn’t difficult to knit.

Finished size is approximately 24” x 28”.

Recommended materials include approx. 500 - 600 yds worsted weight yarn, (1 skein in each of 3 colors), and size 8 circular needles, 24”, (or size needed for gauge).

Sample was knit with Berroco Vintage yarn, using:
1 skein #5101, Mochi, (color A)
1 skein #5106, Smoke (color B)
1 skein #5107, Cracked Pepper (color C)

Recommended gauge is 4.5 stitches per inch, in stockinette stitch.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like.
Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical.
It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Skills required are casting on, knitting, purling, increasing (KFB), decreasing (K2tog and SSK), and binding off.
Blanket is constructed in 1 piece, with no seaming required.
Pattern is clearly written, and includes suggested placement of markers, to help keep your place when knitting.

Follow the suggested color scheme, or design your own.

Enjoy the pattern, and please share photos of your finished blankets and cute babies!
