…designed for the apple of my eyes :o) ….. inspired by the tiny dresses I once wore myself….

Green Apple is a dream design for every little girl, keeping her warm on chilly days while leaving her arms free to move.

With the grow-up-with-me fit in mind, there are buttons at both shoulders allowing adjustments for any growth-spurts, this means it may be worn for many years to come. Firstly as a dress, and as a tunic later on.

The top features embroidery and a deep sewn-on patch pocket, detailed photo tutorials are included in the pattern for both Embroidery and Sewn-on patch pocket.

The dress is worked top down, and knits up very fast and effortlessly.

There are 2 suggested lengths included in the pattern, dress and tunic, however the length is easily customizable.

There are 3 bodice options to choose from:

  1. Front button closure at the shoulders only
  2. Front button closure at the shoulders and at the back bodice
  3. Front button closure at the shoulders and the whole back length

Tips for size 3-6m:

  • buttons at the whole back length: optimal buttonhole spacing on the skirt is 9 garter ridges, the last buttonhole will be placed just before the hem
  • choose flat buttons (if applicable) as babies spend most of the time on their backs
