Despite complex looks, this LynnH design knits up quickly due to DK yarn and simple patterning. There are merely 9 rounds that use two colors on the same round.

It is a top-down sock using four colors of a wonderful washable wool yarn (max two colors per row), with roomy cuff and snug foot. This sock also includes the LynnH No-Purl Heel for a comfy fit and pleasing texture.

Gauge: 5.5 st/in and 6.5 rows/in for two-color knitting, 6 st/in and 8 rows/in for one-color stockinette.

Sizes: Children’s 10 11 / 12 1, (Women’s Sm 6 7 / Med 8 9 / Lg 10 11)

Needle: Two-color knitting pattern on US 3 / 3.25mm double-pointed needles, and stockinette on US 2.5 / 3mm.

Yarn: DK-weight washable wool yarn. Solid colors with good contrast. I used Heirloom Easy-Care 8 ply (98m / 50gm ball). You will need 1 / 1, (1 / 1 / 2) balls of MC (green) shade 799; 1 / 1, (1 / 2 / 2) balls of CC2 (gold) shade 782; 1 partial ball each CC1 (red) shade 713 and CC3 (brown) shade 706.
