I’m LynnH, or Lynn DT Hershberger of Lansing, Michigan, USA. Color is my primary artistic medium. Knitting is how I express it most often.

Knitting is my primary business. I taught at the Sock Summit 2011 in Portland Oregon, and have taught in Dallas, Boston, Chicago, and many locations in Michigan.

My Crystal socklet was published in Knitty.com in March 2012. My Hot Waves sock was included in Lark Books’ Joy of Sox, and I’ve also had designs included in Knit Circus, Craft Sanity, and Heels and Toes Gazette Magazines. I also self-publish.

Passionate about socks, too? My LynnH SockTour shows several dozen of the 190+ pairs of socks I’ve knit since 2001.

My biggest knitting accomplishment to date was a knitted self-portrait in July of 2006. It included 11 colors of yarn in a sort of folk-intarsia. There were 10,374 stitches.
