This scarf pattern is perfect for beginners who want to knit easy yet sophisticated looking accessories. Broken garter stitch is a breeze to master and the results are quite unique and stunning.

The scarf is reversible and looks the same on each side.
As a bonus, it lies completely flat and folds into soft pleats when gathered.

Materials:
Fingering Weight Yarn in two contrasting colours

You can choose two solids, or two variegated, or one solid and one variegated.
You will need 100 g of each colour, with a length of about 420 m per ball. For the largest size you will need 150 g of each colour.
Yarn Suggestion: Regia Pairfect, West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4 ply, Rico Superba or Austermann Step
Tension/Gauge: 24 sts to 10 cm
Knitting needles: A pair of 3.25 mm (US3) circular knitting needles, 120 cm ( 47”) long
