Gypsy style is eccentric and airy. Fabric is layered and textured, with visually interesting details. This cowl aims to replicate that which a gypsy may wear.
Gypsy Drop is a cowl knit flat. You will start at one end, working a garter stitch edge, then textured stitch to the opposite end of the cowl, before working a second garter stitch edge containing buttonholes.
Within the textured stitch are drop stitch columns, which will be unravelled post knitting.
The length of fabric is turned into a cowl by attaching buttons to the initial garter stitch edge, and securing these through the buttonholes.
