Worked from the top down in the round, this lacy tam has textural nupps and lace stitches worked on every round. The brim is finished off with an elastic bind-off that might become your new favorite way to bind off in pattern!

Lace doilies don’t fit my home’s decor, but I inherited a box-full from my grandma and love to pull them out and study the crochet stitches. I realized if I designed a lacy tam from the top down it would be a similar concept, but knit. What fun to turn this passion into a new hat!
