**PATTERN FOR SOFT HAND KNITTED HALF MOON WRAP**

Very easy pattern. FULL DESCRIPTIONS. With pictures added.

This way can be made small scarf or shawl for winter, small-medium-large wrap for summer or autumn and spring. Shawls for kids, even babies, of course adult sizes. And very large sizes, too

These great shawls have lots of kinds knitted almost the same way. I have fully explained one, and have added short explanations and ideas for different look, but the same half moon shawls.

Made for beginners as explanations are made row by row, stitch by stitch.
Some advices, tips and tricks added.

Everything in just one - PDF file. No need for downloading tons of files from mail boxes. Also I have added few full size pictures to copy the colors if needed.

Do not be afraid to use them everywhere.
They are great when it is cold, and great outside for a cool day in summer.

Use thick yarn, and you will have it thick, soft and very very warm for chilly evenings at shishkabob/barbecue parties.
Use very thin yarn - and you will have it for your little black dress.
Use medium yarn - and you will have it for winter instead of a regular shawl (after taking off the coat/jacket you can use it as a wrap instead of a cardigan)

Also international needle and yarn explanation charts added.

I used knitting needles NR 8 (metric system), 11 - US, 0 - UK, some chart tables say a little different but the difference is so small that it will not affect anything for sizing.

Yarn differences also explained. For this size NR of needles you will need UK - chunky, US - bulky yarn. BUT! If the yarn you would like to use is different - not a problem. I have explained how to reach needed yarns thickness also, and how to calculate right NR of stitches to start with.

And a very important and BIG plus - I have explained how to choose the right yarn for needles you have and back - how to choose right size needles for the yarn you have, too.
