This pattern uses the same cable pattern as the Hannafore Jacket from my Simple Knits book.
This cushion uses one of my favourite cable patterns - a simple cable stitch that creates texture and depth to your cushion. Maybe it’s also my favourite because it is called honeycomb so it always makes me think of the hardworking bee. According to sherman folklore it is said to be a lucky stitch for a plentiful catch.
In the 8 row repeat there are only two rows where you are doing cables. The rest of the rows are simply knit and purl so you get plenty of chance to relax between the cable rows!
