The Happy Couple Cowl uses a traditional Norwegian color-work chart of a boy and girl playing in a winter wonderland. Here you’ll find reindeer, trees and lots of snowflakes floating round the yoke of the loose-high neck cowl.

A coordinating slouchy cap with the reindeer and snowflakes, culminating in a large snowflake on the top, sets off this winter accessory set quite nicely.

Knit in 100% alpaca (sample shown used Cloudborn Fibers Alpaca Worsted in Night Heather (220 yds) and Grey Heather 330 yds) this set is soft and cozy warm and such fun to knit!

Directions are written and charted.

NOTE: these designs are knit in the round using circs. US#6 is used for the ribbed brim of the cap, switch to US#9 on slouchy part to the top. You’ll need dpns (or very short circs) to finish off the top. The cowl uses only US#9 circs throughout.
