I created this neoclassical styled knitting pattern for those that want a gender neutral, classic pattern for baby that can be made with any yarn weight and the needles of your choice. Interesting enough to prevent boredom with a fun mix of simple knits and purls to create the texture. I have made the blanket in Superwash Merino, bamboo blend, and acrylic. The blanket shown is in Caron Naturals Spa on size 6 needles.
The pattern is easy to customize in terms of size with additional repeats of the 18 original rows. The pattern repeat is easily adapted for scarves, cowls and accessories.
