This pattern is for an elegant half circle shawlette worked from the top down. The edging is an adaptation of the Frost Flowers pattern from A Treasury of Knitting Patterns by Barbara Walker. This beautiful semi-circle shawlette can be customized for any weight yarn and can be made larger. The pattern includes directions how how to make the stockientte section larger to make a larger shawlette.

The pattern for the edging is both written and charted. The lace pattern is worked on both the right side and the wrong side of the shawl.

The sample shown uses one skein of Lotus Yarns Cashmere 2-ply 400 yards/55grams and measures 47” x 17” (119cm x 43cm).
