The inspiration for this shawl is a yearly tradition our family has. Every year we gather all the adults and all the cousins and go apple picking the first Saturday in October. It’s how we welcome the harvest and is a nice way to re-connect after all the hustle and bustle of school starting again.

This shawl is worked from the bottom up; the crescent shape is achieved through short-rows.
