The Hatteras Hat takes the iconic Hatteras Lighthouse as the inspiration for the main cable motif with its alternating bands of stockinette and reverse stockinette. Cable gulls flank it and below a school of fish swim around the brim. It’s the perfect cool weather hat to remind you of sunny days at the beach. Worked in the round from the top down it has minimal finishing.

Sample shown used Tosh DK in colorway cove.
Sizes: 17, 19, 20 inch brim circumference.
Needle: #6 (body) #5 (ribbed brim)
Skill: Skilled Intermediate. The pattern is completely charted and experience with cables is recommended.
