This pattern is part of the eBook “Berlin - wrapped in Red”, the result of a collaboration between Steffi Palm & Marion Bulin, owners of Yarn over Berlin, and their fabulous and creative friends. The eBook is part of the Malabrigo Freelance pattern project and features several Malabrigo yarns used for eleven red patterns named after Berlin´s districts, rivers or sights.

The Havel is a river that runs straight through Berlin. In some parts it is narrow and in some parts it is really wide and forms lakes such as the Wannsee or the Tegeler See. It doesn’t make as many bends as the river Spree, but it does make a few. These are represented by the single curve in my cowl. You can easily adjust the size by adding another curve.

Size can easily be adjusted in height and circumference - if you want to make it bigger make sure to purchase another skein of yarn.
