Hawaiian Hibiscus Hat
The State flower of Hawaii is actually the yellow hibiscus, but I prefer the red. Even so, the changing of the colors is a personal choice, and whatever the knitter wants, the knitter does! This hat uses two colors, and while I have used the traditional Hawaiian colors of yellow and red, the possibilities are endless.
Not all of Hawaii is sandy beaches. Whether I’m standing on Mauna Kea, visiting Volcano National Park, or just having my morning coffee on the lanai of my home on the mountainside of Mauna Loa, staying warm is a must!
Child size and Adult size are written. The hibiscus is shown in a chart. Choose one skein each of two different colors that you love. The only materials needed besides yarn and knitting needles are a stitch marker for marking the start of each round and a yarn needle to weave in ends.
