Working with giant yarn is just bliss. This pattern helps you to crochet a luxurious cowl either with or without a giant yarn trim. Wearing this cowl, with those big soft stitches snuggled against you, you truly will feel that your head is in the clouds! This pattern is a perfect first project if you have not worked with giant yarn before, or also to use up any spare you might have left over from another bigger project.

** The pattern comes in two sizes: adult and child.

** There are also two versions of the cowl, one with a giant yarn trim, and the other without, so you can keep your head in the clouds even if you don’t have any giant yarn yet!

** The pattern includes guidance on how to adjust the length of the cowl if desired.

** Both versions use super chunky / super bulky yarn for the main body of the cowl. For the giant trim version you will also need around 5 m / 17 feet of giant yarn.

** I recommend a 12 mm / P crochet hook for the cowl body and a 20 or 25 mm / S crochet hook for the trim.
