This bonnet is knit up the center back, sts are CO for sides and than all is knit together with a neck band. This bonnet matches the Hearts a Poppin for My Boy baby blanket ….

The sample is knit with TLC Heathers (an easy care acrylic) but I have also knit it in other worsted weight yarns and the design has come out lovely! The original set (which included a jacket and sox as well as the blanket and bonnet) were knit for my youngest son’s christening -- he was Baptized in an ancient church in Austria in December and so I made an all wool outfit for him.
