This cowl took its inspiration from the intricate shapes and colours of the thick heather covering Holyhead Mountain. I zoomed into my own drawings and created a complex fair isle pattern that merges geometric and organic shapes.

Circumference - 54cm
Height - 25.8cm

One size fits most. Easy to adapt - by repeating sections or omitting sections to get it to the length that you want.

Knitted in 4 colours with Aran yarn. I also used some Rowan Kidsilk Haze, knitted together with the turquoise to give a subtle but effective variation in tone. This is optional though.

Needle - US 8 5.0mm

As I’m new to knitting, and even newer to knitting patterns - please don’t hesitate to give me feedback. Any kind of critique to help me improve is very much appreciated!
