Gothic Girls love their shrugs. This one is made with a light mohair-polyacrylic-blend, and features rows of faux cables on the sleeves and around the border. Light and airy, it’s a perfect choice for late autumn parties.

Faux cables and stockinette combine in this light yet warm shrug. Crochet edgings bring a dab of luxury into everyday life, and the feel of soft mohair keeps You warm in the autumn winds. This easy-to-follow, detailed knit pattern helps You make Your own faux cable shrug in sizes XS to XL.

I made the model shrug in size XS, and it ate 175 grams of yarn. I used an ancient Finnish yarn called Orvokki. It is a 20-80% mohair-polyacrylic blend, and one 50 gram ball holds 150 meters of yarn. Any kind of yarn with the same needle size and weight will do: this pattern isn’t all that fuzzy about yarn.
