Heliocentrism is a triangular shawl with increases along the border and center. The large stockinette portion allows you to either show off a gradient yarn or create your own by mixing several threads. The shawl can be enlarged by working additional repeats. The pattern is charted.

Blue/purple/pink/yellow shawl used 4 skeins Grignasco Merinosilk 75% Merino, 25% Silk, 1533yd/1402m per 100g held three together in various compositions on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles.
Blocked size : 80 x 160 cm ( 31 x 63 inches). Gauge: 16 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette.

Yellow-red shawl used 1 skein Kauni Wool 8/2 Effektgarn 100% Wool 660yd/604m per 150g on 4.0 mm (US 6) needles.
Blocked size : 74 x 142 cm ( 29 x 56 inches). Gauge: 16 stitches = 10 cm in stockinette.
