YARN: The Fibre Company Knightsbridge (65% baby llama, 25% merino wool, 10% silk; 120yds/50 gm skein): barley, 2 skeins.
GAUGE: 24 sts (1 Cable Repeat) + 22 rnds = 3” (7.5 cm) in Cable Pattern on larger ndl, after blocking.
NEEDLES: 2 – 16” (40 cm) US 4 (3.5 mm) circulars. 1 – 16” (40 cm) US 5 (3.75 mm) circular and set dpns.
NOTIONS: Stitch markers, 2 cable needles, waste yarn of same gauge, tapestry needle.
SIZE: 18” (45.75 cm) circumference, unstretched, 10” (25.5 cm) height.
SKILLS: Provisional cast-on, working cables from a chart, increasing and decreasing in pattern.

Henrietta begins with a provisional cast-on. The ribbing is folded in half and then joined for a seamless folded hem. The body of the hat is worked in a cable pattern and the crown is worked using integrated decreases.
