Sizes given are finished dimensions. You’ll need 6 (7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11, 12, 12) hanks of the recommended yarn, shown in “Earl Grey”, to knit the different sizes.

The Heublein Tower is at the end of a gorgeous hike near where I live in Connecticut, and visiting it offers breathtaking views and often-chilly winds. This sweater is exactly what I want to wear on that hike: Warm, soft yarn that will be durable for decades; a construction that allows for an athletic range of motion as I scramble up rocks after my kids; and a not-too-long, not-too-short length that neither rides up nor gets in the way.
