18 sts and 29 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Dot Stitch Pattern knit in the round with needle A after blocking
Obtaining the correct gauge is not crucial, but any differences will affect the size of the finished mitts.

Finished Measurements
15.5 (18) cm / 6 (7) inches palm circumference, 21.5 (21.5) cm / 8½ (8½) inches length. The sample is a size S, shown on a hand with 18 cm / 7 inches palm circumference.

Sample made with The Plucky Knitter Traveler Aran (65% Merino-20% Silk-15% Yak, 201 m/220 y per skein) in colourway Fisherman’s Wharf.

Needles
· needle A: 80 cm/32” circular needle or 40 cm/16” circular needle and double pointed needles (dpns) in size 4.5 mm/ US 7 (or size to obtain gauge)
· needle B: 80 cm/32” circular needle or 40 cm/16” circular needle and double pointed needles (dpns) in size 4.0 mm/ US 6 or one size smaller than needle A for the Ribbing
· needle C: 80 cm/32” circular needle or 40 cm/16” circular needle and double pointed needles (dpns) in size 3.5 mm/ US 4 or two sizes smaller than needle B for the Tubular Cast On (optional)

40 cm/16” circular needles and dpns are optional if you prefer the Magic Loop Method for working small circumferences in the round.

Notions
· 3 stitch markers: 1 red, 2 blue
