The High Rise Scarf is the result of modifying a very simple stitch pattern to be worked at a looser gauge for a lacy end result. The two-row stitch pattern is easy to memorize and works up very quickly, making this scarf an ideal choice when you need a last-minute gift.

Pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, and is a great way to showcase your favorite gradient or self striping yarn. But use whatever you like! You can also work the High Rise Scarf in any weight you like, just be sure to adjust your hook size, and be aware that yarn requirements will vary.

This pattern is suitable for beginners, and uses only basic stitches - Chain, Single Crochet, and Double Crochet. Instructions are included for modifying the width and length, and detailed information on blocking wool, alpaca, silk, and acrylic yarns are included for beginners.
