This easy, versatile cowl is a good introduction to basic crochet stitches. Make it as wide and as long as you like. The variation of crochet stitches gives a gentle undulation, the “hills and valleys.” A multicolored yarn adds an interesting effect, or you may try alternating two or more colors for a striped pattern.
