There’s a proverb in French that goes “une hirondelle ne fait pas le printemps” or “one swallow does not a summer make”. Just as the proverb suggests, appearances can be deceiving with these socks! Despite the sweet lace motif running along the front of the sock, these socks are warm and cozy enough for chilly spring mornings, and while the pattern looks intricate, it’s actually quite easily memorized! Both written and charted instructions have been given for the ribbing, leg, and top of the foot. Bon tricot / happy knitting!
