Many years ago I knitted a hat for each of my relatives for Christmas. I took photos, always intending to publish some of them. Now many years later, reviewing photos, I have decided to go ahead and do just that. This is the first in a series. Some will have companion cowls as well. This one is Holly Go Lightly as the holly border spreads and seems to fly around the edge. Optional berries add a little extra pop. If small balls of aran weight are in your stash, go ahead and use them for the small sections here. My colors were chosen as I have an olive color coat and a navy coat and no hat that I can grab to wear with either. This one works.
Five sizes are included. Infant, Small Child, Child/Small Adult, Adult, Large Adult
Infant, Small Child and Adult sizes shown in bottom right photo above.

This cap is a great Stash Buster. If your stash has small amounts of aran weights, they can be used interchangeably with the Contrasting Colors below as long as they meet gauge.
Colors below are for the hat in upper left corner of first page.
