With its slightly crescent shape, the shawl sits comfortably on the shoulders. The shawl is worked from the neck center out allowing easy size adjustments.

I used scraps of a matching solid color yarn for the last mesh section and the last three rows of the border to create subtle stipes.

I used this pattern to make a large winter version of the shawl in light worsted weight yarn (NaturallyCaron.com Country) (approx. 525 yd).
