Start with a single triangle, using an i-cord edging. Then follow the pictorial included to add side “wings” of i-cord edging to each side.
Maintain the pattern until the specified depth has been attained. Place live stitches on waste yarn or stitch holder
Repeat again to make a second matching triangle with “wings.”
Seamlessly transfer tip to tip half the stitches from one side and half the stitches from the other corresponding side, and begin decreasing to create the “house” shape. End with a 3-needle bind off.
Repeat on other side to complete this interesting unusually constructed rectangle.

Why do i love this blanket? It is worsted-weight cashmere, so you can imagine the softness and the knitting is quick and glides. The Cashmere Eco never pills, so it is a workhorse type of yarn that can easily be washed.
The focal point is in the center of the piece, which means it never pulls up or down, or sideways… does not fall off. The i-cord edging throughout makes it so easy to switch colors (and there are 7), because ends can be tucked easily into the tube formed by the i-cord, and the edging is so polished looking.
It is pretty much reversible.
