Errata: The cables in Crown Shaping Row 25 on the Chart are crossing the opposite way of how they are supposed to be worked. Written instructions are correct for Row 25.

Honegart is one of the patterns featured in Westknits Book Two, available here.

This earflap hat is a quick knit, especially when working with a beautiful natural yarn like Quince & Co. Osprey. The brim is worked back and forth in garter stitch with shaping to form the flaps. Stitches are then picked up from the brim in a contrast color. The body of the hat works with plump honeycomb cables in the round. Finally, a single crochet edge is added along the brim to finish the stylish and warm hat.

Finished Measurements: 19″ / 48cm circumference. Hat is designed to fit an average 21″ / 53cm to 24″ / 61cm circumference head. Hat is shown on a 22.5″ / 57cm head. Different sizes can easily be achieved by altering needle size and/or yarn weight.
