There is nothing quite like the color and taste of real honey, and we would not have honey without honeybees. I love listening to the gentle hum of their wings as they flit about collecting pollen and nectar. As you work this pattern you will see bees wings and honeycombs come into existence with each stitch. What better homage to the honeybees and their delicious honey than a sock?

This pattern is meant for an adventurous novice to intermediate knitter. Please read the entire pattern before beginning.

Yarn: 1 skein Broken Pattern Bamboo Sock, 430 yards, 60% Merino, 30% Bamboo, 10% Nylon

Needle: US 1 (2.25 mm) Signature Steel Double Pointed Needles (DPNs) or needles to obtain gauge

Gauge: 7.25 stitches per inch (spi) and 9 rows per inch (rpi) OR 29 stitches & 36 rows to 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette

Size: To fit a US women’s 8.5-9 shoe, approx. 8.5” circumference and 9” foot

To alter the size: Adjust your gauge to increase or decrease the circumference of the foot as needed.
