Enjoy the cooler weather while keeping warm with the elegant, lacy look of this scarf. Its hourglass shape makes for a trendy and unique look that will leave your friends asking you where you bought it! The best part is… your answer will be, “I made it!”

The Hourglass Scarf uses a Broomstick Lace pattern giving a unique look to a quick one-skein project. It’s the perfect pattern to learn Broomstick Lace as well as how to increase and decrease.

This is my first project using Broomstick Lace (also known as Jiffy Lace). I designed this scarf to be a project for learning Broomstick Lace. This is a one skein project! I didn’t have a large knitting needle or dowel rod for the Broomstick Lace so I used the handle end of my size P19-15.00 mm crochet hook and had no problems completing the project with it.

As this is my first effort at writing a pattern please let me know if there is anyway I can improve it or if you have any questions!

Please, if you wish to sell products made from my pattern, give me credit with a link or a mention of me as the pattern designer.
