The top of this hat is full of flower petals. I fell in love with this bobble flower motif as soon as I found it in 150 Knit and Crochet Motifs by Heather Lodinsky (Interweave, 2011). I love these kinds of motifs that look like they were crocheted. This hat has a bubbly, bumpy, wavy texture that is unusual in knitting and is made by knitting a version of the bobble flower motif and then simply knitting on a brim.
