These cool, distinctive mitts are great to keep your hands warm as your crafting or typing, especially in the summer when everywhere you go is over air-conditioned. And in the winter, you won’t have to take off your gloves every time you want to use your phone. Just wear these instead.

Your family and friends will love them, and they’ll be astonished when you tell them they’re not knit. They’re crocheted.

Supplies required are:

  • 1 hank each Classic Elite Yarns Mountaintop Vail in 8403 Steel (color 1) and 6477 Charcoal (color 2) (substitute approx 200 yards in each color fingering weight)
  • Size G hook
  • Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

This pattern requires a basic understanding of working in the round, changing colors, and post stitches. If you are unfamiliar with the stitch used to create the knit look, there is a link to my YouTube tutorial in the pattern.
