The cake part of this pattern is pretty easy to adapt to different sizes of cakes. Feel free to experiment. You’re not limited to the size that I chose. The cone might be tricky for absolute beginners, so practice your front post stitches and take it slowly. Enjoy playing with your own color schemes, flavors, decorations, & words!

I used a variety of worsted weight yarns in different colors. You can use whatever color palette you like and whatever brands you prefer. Exact gauge isn’t super important as long as you get a good fit for the part that covers your cake form. (Yes, the inside is a Styrofoam cake form.)
