This small shawlette is designed to use up one skein of Hand Painted Knitting Yarns Precious, but the modular design of body and edging mean that you can use it for any amount of pretty worsted weight yarn. A staggered version of the classic Shetland stitch Mrs. Hunter’s Pattern interrupts rows of stockinette and leads into a faggoted lace edging, breaking up a highly variegated colorway and creating a beautiful piece reminiscent of an Impressionist painting.
