This perfectly sized clutch purse is ideal for carrying all of the essentials for an evening out or a day around town. The modern design of this handbag is easily customized with the addition of decorative or functional embellishments, such as a wrist strap or buttons.

For added stability and security, a fabric lining is recommended for the interior of this purse. Without this lining in place, it is possible that the contents of the purse may poke through the knitting stitches, possibly becoming lost or damaging the bag. This easy clutch pattern makes a satisfying project for knitters at almost any skill level, and, unlike scarves or hats, it is perfect for enjoying all year long!

Pattern Difficulty: Beginner

Skills required: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding off, some sewing skills helpful for seaming sides of bag and making the fabric lining

Materials Required:

-US10/6mm needles
-100 Yards Bulky weight yarn
-Tapestry needle for weaving in yarn ends & seaming sides together
-1 Magnetic snap closure

Optional materials for fabric lining:

-¾ Yard Fabric for bag lining
-Sewing thread
-Sewing needle

If not adding a fabric lining, you will also need a button or other embellishment to hide the wrong side of the magnetic snap from showing on the outside of the bag
