♫ The Music ♫
An Innis Àigh (The Happy Island) is an iconic Cape Breton song composed by Angus MacLellan ~ Gaelic scholar, bard and lighthouse keeper on Margaree Island…the “happy island” of this song. The Land and the Sea in perfect harmony in the pairing of these cables and textures ~ use them to create your own story of love and warmth.

5 in 1: Baby to Adult
Allow the yarn to do the work - 1 pattern creates all 5 sizes! Using different yarn weights and needle sizes allows the knitter to use the same pattern for multiple sizes.

This hat is knit bottom up, beginning with an irregular ribbing that feeds into the stitch patterns. The hat is divided into four quadrants – 2 cable and 2 textured. The two cable panels are identical as are the two textured panels.

Both charts and written directions are provided. The two versions share a common cast on and ribbing section and then knitters follow directions for their preferred method.
