This corset style top was named for Isambard Kingdom Brunel, an English engineer best known for his innovative solutions to long-standing engineering problems which revolutionized public transport and modern engineering. After all, what greater feat of engineering is there than a Victorian corset? Knit it in a pastel color and use a ribbon for a soft romantic or even a sexy boudoir look or try a dark color and a leather thong for a steampunk or pirate look. Isambard can be worn over a blouse, but the truly daring may choose to wear it alone!
