One of my favourite things to doodle is little houses, so I decided to turn my doodles into little knits. Each house is quick to knit, and is a super project to use up odds and ends of yarn in your stash. The doors and windows are embroidered using Swiss darning (duplicate stitch) and charts of my designs are included for you to follow, or you create your own decorations to personalise your house. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the houses are knitted in cotton DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 2.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Paintbox Yarns Cotton DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% cotton; up to 10g in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and toy filling.

One size only - The thatched cottage is 6.5cm wide x 5.5cm tall x 4cm deep, and the house is 5.5cm wide x 5.5cm tall x 4cm deep.
