This pattern is for a double thick crocheted Jack O’Lantern Face pot holder. I did the Jack O’Lantern Face on one side and just plain orange on the back side. Can be made with yarn of your choice with the color combinations of your choice, I chose to use acrylic because of all the bright colors available in it. Can be made with crochet hook of your choice, I used a size “H” for the ones pictured.
Supplies:
• Crochet Hook size: H / 5.0 mm
• Yarn needle (plastic or metal)
• Worsted weight or cotton yarn of your choice (I used Red Heart Super Saver in “Pumpkin” for the main color and Red Heart Super Saver in “Bright Yellow” for the face)
• Scissors or yarn cutter

Approximate finished size: 8 inches x 9 inches
Abbreviations: (U.S. terms)

CH = Chain stitch
SC = Single Crochet
SL = Slip Stitch
RS = Right Side
WS = Wrong Side

Written instructions and chart are included

Note to Left Handed Crocheters: the pattern directions are written for right handed crochet. This pattern is almost symmetrical, there are only two rows (the two rows for the “teeth”) that are not symmetrical… Row 8 & Row 9… to get the same result and look as the picture, you can swap these two rows by doing Row 9 first, then do Row 8.
