ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Jamie hat uses basic twisted stitches. Fun to knit and simple to work with a polished finished look. No cable needles needed. The three sizes use the same number of cast on sts and follow the same directions – the only different is the gauge of the yarn used!

SIZES
Toddler (Adult S, Adult L)

MEASUREMENTS
To Fit:
17 (21, 24)” (43 (53.5, 61) cm) head circumference
Finished Measurements: about 16 (20, 23)” (40.5 (51, 58.5) cm) circumference

MATERIALS
Yarn:

Toddler: 110 yds (100 m) Worsted weight
Adult S: 140 yds (130 m) Aran weight
Adult L: 150 yds (140 m) Bulky weight

Needles: 16” (40 cm) circular and dpns, suggested needle size varies by weight of yarn used. Test your gauge, these are recommended needle sizes but you will need to use the size of needle that gives you gauge in Pattern.
Toddler: Size US 7 (4.50 mm) for Worsted weight
Adult S: Size US 9 (5.50 mm) for Aran weight
Adult L: Size US 10.5 (6.50 mm) for Bulky weight

Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle

GAUGE
Toddler Size Worsted Gauge:
20 sts and 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
Adult S Size Aran Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
Adult L Size Bulky Gauge: 14 sts and 18 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Pattern after blocking
