This scarf is knitted along its length. The ribbed effect gives the scarf body and therefore warmth as it hugs your neck. The design is equally appropriate for both men and women. It works particularly well with variegated yarns to create a lengthways stripe.

Length is easily adjusted by the number of stitches that are cast on. It is advisable to check your tension before casting on as this will affect the finished length of the scarf.

Less than two 100g skeins of fingering weight yarn are required to knit this scarf.
