I originally designed this potholder for a class on join as you go mitered squares. My friend Jan took this class and fell in love with the pattern and has made it over and over again ever since, so when I was searching for a name for this pattern there was no other option than to name it for my friend whose favorite pattern it so quickly became!

The pattern contains complete directions for making the mitered squares, and for joining them you go, as well as for the crochet join, and the i-cord edging and loop. A wonderful way to use up scraps, there are so many different fun color arrangements that you too can, like Jan, make this potholder over and over again!
