These are inspired by the sock design artistry of Lisa Grossman, known as the Tsarina of Tsocks. Her creations are pure genius, and I urge you to discover and delight in them yourself. I wanted to create an easy version of the concept. These are not made to be put into a shoe, but more of a novelty sleeping sock, or slipper. There are links to the tutorials I found instrumental. Many thanks to their makers.

This is a toe-up sock, with afterthought heel and details that utilize the afterthought method. If you prefer a different toe or heel, feel free to substitute.

Place the fins as I have, or further up on the leg past the ankle, your choice. Feel free to embellish with toe nails, toe rings, buttons for eyes, and pony beads for a bit of gore. You can also add purl ribs to define the toes. Have fun with it!
