A truly lush blanket made with superb Malabrigo Worsted yarn. Worked in one piece, it features a unique Tunisian stitch pattern consisting of various textured sections, which create a quirky patchwork look. The pattern contains both fully written instructions and a stitch pattern chart.

Pattern Skill Level

The blanket is fairly easy to make, however the pattern assumes a firm grasp of basic Tunisian crochet techniques, specifically how each row is worked as two separate passes, how to work Tunisian simple stitch, twisted Tunisian simple stitch, Tunisian knit stitch, Tunisian purl stitch, full stitch increase, return pass decrease and how to bind off your work.

Materials and Tools

Malabrigo Worsted: 100% merino, 210yd/192m per 100g skein, shade 35 Frank Ochre, 1-22 skeins depending on the size (the pattern includes detailed yardage information for each size)
Tunisian crochet hook (with extension) in size K10.5/6.5mm or size needed to achieve gauge
Approx. 10 removable stitch markers
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
