Purple Gold is a lacy two-color scarf worked in a fun Tunisian crochet chevron pattern. The name is the two shades of the lovely Lace Scrumptious by Fyberspates used in this design.

The scarf is easy enough for someone with only basic knowledge of Tunisian crochet, yet the pretty chevron pattern would not bore a more experienced crocheter. Depending on your color choice, it can be unisex and suitable for all ages.

The rows are both written out and charted. The pattern also includes photo-instructions on how to change colors and a few extra chevron ideas.

Skill Level:

Basic familiarity with Tunisian crochet techniques, specifically how each row is worked as two separate passes, how to work the Tunisian simple stitch and full stitch increase, how to decrease stitches in the return pass, as well as how to bind off your work. Refer to my website for a glossary of Tunisian crochet stitches: http://www.msweaver.com/tutorials/tunisian-crochet/.
